ProSiebenSat.1 Group signs contract with Constantin Film
Munich, February 15, 2005. The ProSiebenSat.1 Group has obtained exclusive Free TV broadcasting rights to the feature film production of Germanys leading production company, Constantin Film. The contract essentially covers the productions from last year and the next two years. The agreement contains some 30 German and international feature films.
It also includes Mel Gibsons The Passion of the Christ and the new theatrical-release comedies featuring star comics Tom Gerhardt and Michael Bully Herbig. Gerhardt plays the title role in the Nibelungen comedy Siegfried from hit director Sven Unterwaldt (7 Zwerge Männer allein im Wald). Michael Bully Herbig lends his voice to a character in Hui Buh, das Schlossgespenst. The agreement also includes the current U.S. horror hit The Grudge, with Sarah Michelle Gellar, the remake of John Carpenters horror classic Assault on Precinct 13, and the international co-production Pope Joan, based on the best-seller of Donna Cross.

The ProSiebenSat.1 Group has long-term contracts with virtually every major Hollywood studio and many other important production companies and distributors. Other partners with which the Group has contracts include Sony Entertainment, Paramount, Disney, Warner Brothers, Dreamworks and Lucasfilm, as well as Senator, Epsilon, Highlight and Tobis.
