Julian Geist to leave ProSiebenSat.1

Ralf Gierig, Deputy Group CFO, EVP Group Finance and Investor Relations, to lead team for the time being Stronger synergies with capital market communication Munich, April 20, 2017. Julian Geist, EVP Communications and Public Affairs of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE, will leave the Company as of April 30, 2017 to pursue new professional interests. The parties agreed on this in mutual agreement and on the best of terms. For the time being, Ralf Peter Gierig, Deputy Group CFO, Executive Vice President Group Finance and Investor Relations, will additionally assume responsibility for the communications team. Since 1995, Julian Geist has worked in various positions within ProSiebenSat.1 and has significantly shaped the Group’s communications. He has been EVP Communications for 8 years, in 2013 he also assumed responsibility for the Group’s public affairs strategy. In this time, the Company developed from a traditional TV company into one of Europe’s most successful independent media groups with a strong presence in the TV and digital business. After more than 20 years within the Group, Geist now embarks on new professional challenges. After such a long career, I respect his desire for change and wish him all the very best for his future.
