ProSiebenSat.1 Acquires Attractive Package of Films and Series from Warner Bros. International Television Distribution

Munich, January 19, 2012. The ProSiebenSat.1 Group has signed a multi-year license agreement with Warner Bros. International Television Distribution. The output deal gives the Group exclusive free TV rights to a large number of Hollywood blockbusters over the next few years, including the continuation of "Superman," a new version of "Batman" and "Pacific Rim". The deal also gives ProSiebenSat.1 access to a highly appealing library that includes the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy and "Harry Potter" Parts 1-4. WBITD will also be supplying ProSiebenSat.1 with new U.S. series over the coming years. Furthermore the deal contains local productions of Warner Bros. Germany, shown in cinemas from 2013 on. All rights apply for the ProSiebenSat.1 Group's stations in Germany. Said ProSiebenSat.1 Group CEO Thomas Ebeling: "I'm delighted that Warner movies and series will be running on our stations again. They will enable us to offer our viewers exciting series and film highlights over the next few years.
