Dr. Marcus Englert to join Executive Board at ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG, will head
Effective August 1, 2006, Dr. Marcus Englert, 41, will join the Executive Board of ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG. As the Board member in charge of diversification, he will be responsible for all the Groups new lines of business. He will hold his Executive Board position while still remaining managing director of SevenOne Intermedia, the Groups multimedia subsidiary.

Im delighted that Dr. Englert, with his many years of experience in new media and his broad strategic perspective, will be playing a major role in helping to steer the ProSiebenSat.1 Group into the digital future.
The Diversification unit pools all ProSiebenSat.1 Group activities that are not directly related to TV advertising. These include Internet services, added-value telephone services, mobile services, merchandising, licensing, music and transaction TV. Dr. Englerts responsibilities will also include the Groups new digital TV services, including pay TV, video on demand and IPTV.
Dr. Englert studied physics at the University of Munich before earning his doctorate at CERN, the European nuclear research institute in Geneva. From 1994 to 1998 he was a consultant with Boston Consulting Group in Munich. In 1996 he earned an MBA at INSEAD, the European business institute in Fontainebleau, near Paris. In 1998 he assumed the general directorship at ProSieben Digital Media in Munich. From 2000 to 2001 he was a member of the Executive Board at Kirch New Media AG. He has been managing director at SevenOne Intermedia since 2001, and additionally the ProSiebenSat.1 Groups Diversification Director since 2004.
