Market shares in April: The ProSiebenSat.1 TV Deutschland broadcasting group continues to gain weight with an even clearer lead over Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland

Unterföhring, 1 May 2010. The German broadcasting group of ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG, SAT.1, ProSieben, kabel eins and N24 reached a positive market share in April 2010 of 31.5 percent. The broadcasting group thus recorded an increase of +1.2 percentage points compared to March 2010 (30.3 percent of the market share). SAT.1 recorded its best monthly market share in two years whilst ProSieben recorded its best value for April in five years. With this result for April, ProSiebenSat.1 TV Deutschland GmbH has again widened the gap substantially between itself and Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland (RTL, Vox, Super RTL, n-tv) which reached a market share of 29.8 percent.
