13 hours of media use daily Trends in 2021: More individual and mass media communication Unterföhring, October 21, 2021: People in Germany are spending more and more time with media. For the second time in a row, media usage has reached a new high following last year's record: Germans (14-69 year olds) spend 13 hours a day on mass and individual communication. This renewed increase in media usage is shaped by two fundamental factors: The growing diversity of offerings and end devices, and the continuing influence of the Corona pandemic. In addition to TV (238 minutes daily in Q1/2021), the Internet (149 minutes) and radio (100 minutes) are the most-used media in Germany. These are some of the results of the MEDIA ACTIVITY GUIDE 2021, with which Seven.One Media annually presents an up-to-date inventory of media use in Germany.
