Nick Thexton Appointed Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of ProSiebenSat.1 Group
Unterfoehring, March 06, 2019 – ProSiebenSat.1 has appointed Nick Thexton (56) to the newly created position of Chief Technology Officer, as the company continues to advance the technological transformation of its business. The British technology specialist has worked for over 30 years as a developer and manager in the international entertainment and telecommunications industries. He will assume his new position in June 2019 and report to the Chairman of the Executive Board, Max Conze. Furthermore, Nick will be part of the newly announced extended Executive Board of ProSiebenSat.1 Group. Nick Thexton will manage all business functions on Group level that support the ongoing transformation of ProSiebenSat.1 into a technology and data-led company. His remit is to connect individual components, such as data management, tech solutions and digital business models, more effectively and synergistically in order to significantly accelerate digital growth at the technology front. Previously, he was Chief Technology Officer at YouView TV Ltd., a leading TV platform in the UK. His resume also includes stints at Channel 4 in the UK and Cisco, where he was in charge of Service Provider Video Software Solutions as the CTO.
