Personalie: Zeljko Karajica wird Geschäftsführer und COO der ProSiebenSat.1 TV Deutschland GmbH

Unterföhring, February 3, 2012. Effective March 1, 2012, Zeljko Karajica, 41, will be a Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of ProSiebenSat.1 TV Deutschland GmbH (TVD). He succeeds Dr. Christian Wegner, who was appointed Chief New Media Officer of the ProSiebenSat.1 Group as of October 1, 2011. The other members of TVD management, as before, are Andreas Bartl (CEO) Jürgen Hörner, Markan Karajica and Dr. Gunnar Wiedenfels. Zeljko Karajica joins the Company from SPORT1 GmbH (formerly DSF Deutsches SportFernsehen GmbH), where he had been a Managing Director since July 2009. Additionally, he was Managing Director of Constantin Sport Medien GmbH, which is in charge of Bundesliga live broadcaster LIGA total!, and the Brandsome GmbH creative agency. He has also been a member of the management of PLAZAMEDIA GmbH since January 2006, as COO. Before that, Karajica was Managing Director at the CREATION CLUB (CC) GmbH creative agency, after heading Creative Services at pay TV station Premiere (now Sky). He began his career as a host on OK-Radio in Hamburg, and as a contributing editor at RTL und VOX. He holds a degree in economics and political science.
