ProSiebenSat.1 Extends Licensing Agreement for Paramount Pictures Titles

Munich, August 2, 2012. The ProSiebenSat.1 Group has extended its existing licensing contract to maintain the exclusive free-TV rights to a highly attractive package of blockbusters from Paramount Pictures.  The feature films covered under the agreement include the highly-anticipated upcoming theatrical releases in 2013 and beyond such as J.J. Abrams' Star Trek sequel and World War Z starring Brad Pitt.  In addition, ProSiebenSat.1 has gained access to the extensive library featuring top titles such as Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Beverly Hills Cop and more. All rights apply for the stations of the ProSiebenSat.1 Group in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The ProSiebenSat.1 Group has long-term contracts with nearly all the major Hollywood studios as well as with numerous important producers and movie companies. In addition to Paramount, ProSiebenSat.1 has partnered with CBS, Disney, Sony Pictures International, Twentieth Century Fox, Warner Bros., as well as Constantin, Lucasfilm, Studiocanal, and Tobis Film.
