ProSiebenSat.1 Group: Dr. Ralf Schremper becomes CFO Digital & Adjacent

Munich, January 17, 2013. Dr. Ralf Schremper (40) will become CFO Digital & Adjacent of the ProSiebenSat.1 Group as of February 1, 2013. Schremper takes on the new role in addition to his two functions as Executive Vice President Strategic Planning/Mergers & Acquisitions and as CFO and Managing Director of Red Arrow Entertainment Group GmbH. The "Digital & Adjacent" segment is the most important growth driver for the ProSiebenSat.1 Group. The Group plans to expand its digital business considerably in the years to come through both organic growth and targeted acquisitions. Schremper succeeds Ralf Gierig (47), who took on the role of CFO Digital & Adjacent for the last two years in addition to his function as Executive Vice President Group Finance & Investor Relations. Before the background of the planned conversion of preference shares into common shares and other potential capital market topics, upon request of the Executive Board Ralf Gierig is now focusing on his responsibilities for "Investor Relations" and "Group Finance & Treasury". Axel Salzmann, CFO of the ProSiebenSat.1 Group, said: "Ralf Schremper is an internationally experienced mergers and acquisitions expert, who reached important milestones for the ProSiebenSat.1 Group with the Benelux and Northern Europe transactions. In the next few years, we will benefit from his expertise in the expansion of our digital business. I thank Ralf Gierig for his extraordinary achievement; he has made a crucial contribution to the successful growth of our "Digital & Adjacent" segment. During his time as CFO Digital & Adjacent, we extended our online and online games activities. We set a strategic focus for our media investment business and built up an attractive ventures portfolio. ProSiebenSat.1 Group is facing important capital market related topics in 2013. Ralf Gierig with his profound expertise will lead these efforts." Dr. Gunnar Wiedenfels (35), CFO National and Co-Managing Director of ProSiebenSat.1 TV Deutschland GmbH, will additionally become Chief Group Controller as of February 1, 2013, taking on the overall management of ProSiebenSat.1 Controlling. Quinton Holland (44), formerly CFO International and Group Controller, is leaving the company in the course of the sale of the Northern European activities and is returning to the SBS Group as Chief Financial Officer. Axel Salzmann, CFO of the ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG, said: "Quinton Holland came to Munich in 2007 following our acquisition of the SBS Group and made a significant contribution to the successful development of the Northern European stations in recent years.
