ProSiebenSat.1 Group Extends Contract with Paramount Pictures
Munich, November 17, 2008. The ProSiebenSat.1 Group has come to terms on extending its contract with Paramount Pictures, licensing the exclusive free-TV rights to numerous blockbusters for German-speaking Europe as part of an output deal. By means of this move, the TV company has stocked its movie portfolio with future box office hits like Star Trek starring Eric Bana and Winona Ryder, the highly anticipated sequel Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen and Watchmen, based on the comic book series and graphic novel of the same name. The agreement also covers an extensive movie package, with titles including Beverly Hills Cop 1-3, 48 Hours, Forrest Gump, Mission Impossible 1-3, Ghost and Top Gun.

The ProSiebenSat.1 Group has entered into long-term agreements with nearly all the major Hollywood studios, as well as numerous important producers and movie companies. The companys partners include Sony, Paramount, CBS, Disney, Warner, MGM, Lucasfilm, Dreamworks, Constantin, Tobisfilm and Kinowelt.
