ProSiebenSat.1 signs agreement with TV streaming service Magine for the mobile distribution of TV station content

Unterföhring, January 23, 2014 - The ProSiebenSat.1 Group and the Swedish TV streaming service Magine have entered into an agreement for the transmission of linear TV signals in Germany. It will thus be possible to view programs of the six TV stations SAT.1, ProSieben, kabel eins, sixx, SAT.1 Gold and ProSieben MAXX "on the go" on a mobile device once the platform is launched. ProSiebenSat.1 had already launched an "on-the-go" application for mobile devices, called "sixx to go," in mid-October, allowing viewers to watch sixx anywhere, whether on the bus, in bed or in the garden. After the successful launch of the mobile app, the next step for the ProSiebenSat.1 Group will be to offer other TV programs for mobile viewing. Conrad Albert, Board Member Legal, Distribution & Regulatory Affairs of ProSiebenSat.1: "For years, ProSiebenSat.1 has promoted the mobile distribution of TV content with its second-screen offers. In the future, viewers will also be able to receive our TV broadcasts, including highlights like "The Voice of Germany" or their favorite TV series or the latest movie, on their mobile devices via live stream. Magine is a strong partner that will further promote the mobile distribution of our TV programs." Contact: Jasmin Mittenzwei
