ProSiebenSat.1 TV Deutschland GmbH in June

Unterföhring, July 1, 2012. The ProSiebenSat.1's German group of stations -SAT.1, ProSieben, kabel eins, and sixx - recorded an audience share of 24.3% in June 2012 (May 2012: 28.7% audience share). In a monthly comparison, the stations of ProSiebenSat.1 TV Deutschland GmbH were 0.9 percentage points ahead of the RTL Deutschland media group (RTL, Vox, Super RTL, n-tv) which achieved an audience share of 23.4% in June 2012. Despite the EURO 2012 soccer championships in June, the ProSiebenSat.1 TV Deutschland family of stations was able to remain stable when comparing the first half of 2011 to the first half of 2012 (a 28.2% audience share in the first half of 2011 versus a 28.1% audience share in the first half of 2012). This is not the case for channels in the RTL Deutschland media group: In this comparison, they recorded a loss of 2.6 percentage points (a 30.1% audience share in the first half of 2011 versus a 27.5% audience share in the first half of 2012). Individual figures for the stations of ProSiebenSat.1 TV Deutschland GmbH: In June 2012, SAT.1 recorded an audience share of 8.5%, ProSieben 9.9%, kabel eins 5.1%, and sixx 0.8%.
