ProSiebenSat.1s Red Arrow Entertainment Group acquires majority interest in US production company Kinetic Content

- 51% purchase secures robust access to the world's largest TV market
- Creates partnership with former CEO of RDF USA and a top-tier creative team
- Expands content pipeline for Red Arrow's distribution arm, SevenOne International


Munich, September 2, 2010. Red Arrow Entertainment Group today announced the 51% acquisition of Kinetic Content, an independent production company based in Los Angeles, CA. Launched in March of 2010 by Chris Coelen, the former CEO of RDF Media USA, Kinetic is focused on the creation and production of multi-genre, multi-platform content. During his four-year tenure at RDF, Coelens team was responsible for the sale of more than 30 on-air series and specials, overseeing key programs such as Secret Millionaire (Fox & ABC), Dont Forget the Lyrics (Fox & 20th syndication) and Wife Swap (ABC). Previously a partner at United Talent Agency, Coelen represented a wide variety of on-air talent (e.g., Ryan Seacrest, Jessica Simpson), alongside producers based in the US (e.g., Thom Beers, Michael Davies) and outside the US (e.g., Shed, RDF, Objective).

The deal represents a key step in Red Arrow's ongoing expansion of its international production footprint and content catalog. As a result of the transaction, Red Arrow will have a vibrant production presence in the world's largest television market and be in partnership with experienced and highly successful creative talent. Kinetic Content's creative output will be sold worldwide by Red Arrows program distribution arm, SevenOne International.
