SevenOne International: Denmark picks up "Culture Shock: Norway"

Munich, June 21, 2012. They are competing for a prize most people would like to avoid: A family dinner. Danish broadcaster SBS secured the rights to "Culture Shock: Norway". "Alt for Danmark" (local title) is produced by Snowman Productions and will air on Kanal 5. The multi award winning format is already a smash hit in Norway and Sweden.

"We are looking very much forward to airing the program format, knowing what a great success it has been in our neighboring countries, Norway and Sweden. `Alt for Danmark´ will be our flagship for the fall season, and our expectations for the program are sky high" says Peter Rosberg, Director of Programming at SBS.

Henrik Pabst, Regional Sales Director Scandinavia, Benelux and UK at SevenOne International: "Scandinavians love ´Culture Shock´. It is a truly innovative show that proved to attract large audiences. With its proven track record and the amazing ratings in Norway and Sweden `Culture Shock´ is the perfect addition for SBS."

Created by Monster Entertainment and The Oxymorons "Culture Shock: Norway" already scored record ratings on TV Norge and a third season is currently in production. In Sweden, a second season of "Allt för Sverige" for SVT 1 is confirmed.

About "Culture Shock: Norway"
When cultures clash, comedy abounds. "Culture Shock: Norway" drops ten Norwegian Americans into the heart of Norway to complete a series of extreme cultural challenges. For eight weeks the contestants will fight to prove their skill, courage and determination. They will have to survive in a Viking village, eat traditional foods or hoist teammates up a flagpole - and much, much more. In the end, the winner will earn the right to call themselves a true Norwegian, as well as win a big cash prize and a family reunion with Norwegian relatives they never knew existed.
