The Imaginarium Studios and Red Arrow join forces for new TV venture

Munich, April 9, 2015. The Imaginarium Studios and Red Arrow have announced a major new joint initiative. The Imaginarium is the UK's premier Performance Capture studio and  Film, TV and Videogame production company, founded by actor/director Andy Serkis ("The Lord of the Rings" trilogy, "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes") and veteran producer Jonathan Cavendish ("Bridget Jones's Diary", "Elizabeth: The Golden Age"). This new cooperation between Red Arrow Entertainment Group and The Imaginarium will see a new unit created to develop high-end scripted TV drama for the international market. The two companies are currently recruiting a senior level executive to manage the new initiative's development slate. All projects will be distributed internationally by Red Arrow International. Established in 2011 by actor/director Andy Serkis and producer Jonathan Cavendish, The Imaginarium Studios harnesses the power of performance capture to fuel a new generation of storytelling in film, television and videogames. The Imaginarium Studios has secured film rights for Samantha Shannon's novel "The Bone Season", along with rights to a new adaptation of George Orwell's "Animal Farm". Serkis and Cavendish will produce "The Bone Season" while Serkis will direct "Animal Farm". The studio provided performance capture services for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" and the forthcoming Marvel Studios film "Avengers: Age of Ultron". The Imaginarium team are also using their performance capture services and working with Serkis for his directorial debut on "The Jungle Book: Origins", starring Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett, Naomie Harris and Benedict Cumberbatch.
