2011 German Television Prize: SAT.1 Gets Four Nominations / ProSieben and kabel eins Each Get Two
Unterföhring, September 21, 2011. Rejoicing all around at SAT.1
- the station has four nominations in the running for the German
Television Prize, to be awarded on October 2. "Der letzte Bulle"
(production: Granada Produktion für Film und Fernsehen GmbH in
collaboration with Greenskyfilms GmbH), with Henning Baum and
Maximilian Grill, was nominated as Best Series. Vladimir Burlakov
was nominated as Best Actor for his lead role in the major SAT.1 TV
event "Marco W. - 247 Tage im türkischen Gefängnis" (production:
Zeitsprung Entertainment GmbH). Alexandra Neldel got the nomination
nod as Best Actress for her performance in "Die Wanderhure"
(production: A BurkertBareiss production of TV60 Filmproduktion
GmbH). And "Ladykracher" (production: Ladykracher TV Produktions
GmbH in collaboration with BRAINPOOL TV GmbH), with Anke Engelke,
was nominated for Best Comedy.
The ProSieben production "Go West - Freiheit um jeden Preis"
(production: Teamworx Television & Film GmbH in collaboration
with gilles mann filmproduktion), with Franz Dinda, Sergej Moya and
Frederick Lau, was nominated in the prestigious award's Best
Multi-Part Production category. And kabel eins is excited about its
first nomination in the renowned competition: its show
"Stellungswechsel" (production: Constantin Entertainment GmbH) was
nominated for Best Entertainment Documentary / Docutainment.
Several SAT.1 and ProSieben personalities can boast nominations
for Best Entertainer of 2011: the jury chose Johannes B. Kerner,
Ulla Kock am Brink, Stefan Raab, Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas
Heufer-Umlauf for the competition, which is decided by an audience
vote.
The Thirteenth German Television Prize will be awarded at a gala
event to be held at Cologne's Coloneum on October 2.
