Eight 2010 German Comedy Awards for SAT.1 and ProSieben / Including Best Comedy Series for Danni Lowinski
Unterföhring, October 15, 2010 SAT.1 and ProSieben were blessed with a flurry of awards at this years German Comedy Awards. The jury recognized the outstanding entertainment of both TV stations in a total of eight categories.
Here are the awards: TV total (ProSieben) was named Best Late-Night Show, Ladykracher (SAT.1) was named Best Sketch Comedy, Fröhliche Weihnachten (SAT.1) was named Best Comedy Event and Barfuß bis zum Hals (SAT.1) was named Best TV Comedy. Only one week after the German Television Awards, the SAT.1 series Danni Lowinski won two more awards: Best Comedy Series and Annette Frier as Best Actress. Christoph Maria Herbst (Stromberg, ProSieben) took the award for Best Actor. This legendary actor played his first starring role in a crime drama, Kreutzer kommt, on November 1, 2010 at 8:15 p.m. on ProSieben. With 4.2 million viewers, Zweiohrküken (a SevenPictures co-production for SAT.1) was named Most Successful Theatrical Release Comedy of the year. The awards ceremony in the Coloneum in Cologne was broadcast Friday evening.
