Haim Saban reelected to Chair Supervisory Board

Munich, May 7, 2004. Convening in the first meeting of its new term today, the Supervisory Board of ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG reelected Haim Saban, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Saban Capital Group, as its Chairman. Adam Chesnoff, President and Chief Operating Officer of Saban Capital Group, was reelected Vice-Chair.

A short time earlier, the Annual Meeting of ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG had approved an expansion of the Supervisory Board from nine to 15 members. The new members elected to the Board were Tony Ball, Consultant; Albert J. Dobron Jr., Principal, Providence Equity Partners; Stephen G. Pagliuca, Managing Director, Bain Capital Partners; Brian Powers, Chief Executive Officer, Hellman & Friedman; Steven Rattner, Managing Principal, Quadrangle Group; and Scott Sperling, Managing Director, Thomas H. Lee Partners.

Another new appointee to the Board was Christian Nienhaus, Managing Director of the BILD Newspaper Group. He takes over the Board seat of Hubertus Meyer-Burckhardt, currently a member of the Board of Management at Axel Springer AG, who will join the ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG Executive Board on July 1, 2004. Wolfgang Hartmann, a member of the Board of Managing Directors of Commerzbank AG, has also left the Board. He is being replaced by Greg Dyke, a TV manager.

The following were reelected to the Board: John P. Connaughton, Managing Director, Bain Capital Partners; Dr. Mathias Döpfner, Chairman, Board of Management, Axel Springer AG; Patrick J. Healy, Managing Director, Hellman & Friedman; Dr. Michael Jaffé, attorney, Jaffé Rechtsanwälte insolvency administrator of KirchMedia GmbH & Co. KGaA; and Seth W. Lawry, Managing Director, Thomas H. Lee Partners.
