Julian Geist Appointed New Corporate Spokesman of ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG

Munich, March 5, 2009. Julian Geist has been appointed the new Corporate Spokesman of the ProSiebenSat.1 Group as of March 1, 2009. As Executive Vice President Corporate Office & Corporate Communications, he reports to Thomas Ebeling, CEO of the ProSiebenSat.1 Group, and is in charge of all the Groups communications. Geist, 40, succeeds the late corporate spokeswoman Katja Pichler. He has been the Groups acting spokesman since June 2008.

Julian Geist has been with the Group since 1995, and has provided communications support for many important developments at the company. With his many years of experience, I think hes the ideal person for the job, said CEO Ebeling.

As part of the structural reorganization announced at the end of 2008, the ProSiebenSat.1 Group will be combining the communications departments for the holding company and the sales, diversification and technology units in a central corporate communications section.

Julian Geist was born in Munich in 1968. He studied law, English language and literature, and philosophy at Bayreuth, Aix-en-Provence, Swansea and Munich. He served as the ProSiebenSat.1 Groups Head of Corporate Communications from April 2006 to May 2008.
