REN TV in Russia acquires Red Arrow International’s “The Taste”
Munich, April
3rd, 2013. It's all about the
taste: Red Arrow International sold the format rights to "The
Taste" to Russian Free TV Broadcaster REN TV.
Originally commissioned by ABC, "The Taste" scored the
channel's highest debut in two years. The US version features famed
foodies Nigella Lawson, Anthony Bourdain, Brian
Malarkey and Ludo Lefebvre as distinguished panel of judges as they
look for America's most skilled cook.

constantly growing and developing its primetime broadcast. When we
found this format in the market, we could not pass by
without taking notice of it, because it would perfectly fit
the development strategy for our current primetime content, i.e. a
well-established TV format known as 'Adskaya Kukhnya'. As we go
forward, we plan to adapt the successful 'The Taste' format. We are
pretty confident of success, we are certain of attracting new,
younger audiences to our primetime content, using 'The Taste' as
the flagship format in our primetime broadcasting"

Chris Coelen, Matilda Zoltowski, Emma Conway, Anthony Bourdain and
Nigella Lawson. Sales of "The Taste" include FOX for
India, Australia's Nine Network and M6 in France.
