The 2011 Bavarian TV Prizes: “Blue Panther” to “Marco W.” Actor Vladimir Burlakov / Three More Nominations for SAT.1 and ProSieben
Unterföhring, May 9, 2011. At this year's
Bavarian Television Prizes, Vladimir Burlakov won the Youth Award
for his strong portrayal in "Marco W. - 247 Tage im türkischen
Gefängnis." The major SAT.1 TV event earned a 20.3 audience share
on March 23 in the target demographic between ages 14 and 49 (a
total of 4.91 million viewers over age 3). Following the strong
ratings and outstanding reviews from the TV and trade press, the
prize was yet another honor for the successful film version and its
convincing cast.
SAT.1 had two more candidates for the "Blue Panther": Henning
Baum, as "Der letzte Bulle" in the series by the same name, was
nominated for best actor in the "Series" category. And Matthias
Koeberlin was nominated as best actor in the "Television Film"
category, for his role in the film "Restrisiko."
ProSieben has hopes too: Rosalie Thomass was nominated for a
Bavarian Television Prize as best actress in the "Television Film"
category, including for her role in the crime film "Kreutzer
kommt."
The winner of the Youth Award and the nominees in the "Series"
and "Television Film" categories were announced at a press
conference today. The 2011 Bavarian Television Prize will be
awarded on June 10 at Munich's Prinzregententheater, and will be
broadcast shortly thereafter on RTL.
