German Free TV Holding GmbH stations press offices to be reorganized / Communications departments of Sat.1, ProSieben, kabel eins and N24 to be pooled
Unterföhring, June 29, 2009
Dear Editors:
As part of the reorganization of ProSiebenSat.1 Media AGs German group of stations, the Communications/PR departments of Sat.1, ProSieben, kabel eins and N24 will be pooled at German Free TV Holding GmbH as of July 1, 2009. In addition to her former duties as Senior Vice President Business Development and Spokesperson, Petra Fink, 40, will head the entire unit, as Senior Vice President Communications/PR of German Free TV Holding GmbH. The former heads of the stations communications and PR will remain in office as the spokespeople for their various stations managements, but will also assume additional functions within the new structure, within which they will report to Ms. Fink.
The new Communications/PR unit at German Free TV Holding GmbH will be grouped not by station, but by content.
The Entertainment unit, headed by Christoph Körfer (42; Head of Communications/PR and Vice-Managing Director at ProSieben, Spokesperson), will be in charge of all light entertainment, variety and documentary shows, comedy, and celebrity documentaries.
The Fiction unit, headed by Diana Schardt (38; Head of Communications/PR and Spokesperson at Sat.1) will be in charge of communications and PR for all domestic and international in-house productions, commissioned productions and licensed productions of fiction, whether feature films or series.
The Factual/Sports unit, headed by Kristina Fassler (46, Head of Communications/PR and Marketing at N24, Spokesperson) will cover all magazine and infotainment shows, documentaries, news, special reports and sports.
The Corporate Communications unit, headed by Daniela Allgayer-Koreimann (41, Head of Communications/PR and Spokesperson at kabel eins) will be concerned with all multi-station communications issues, both internally and externally, special events, social commitment, faces, and viewer services.
The video departments (fiction and nonfiction in-house, commissioned and licensed productions) will be pooled in a unit under the management of Susanne Karl, 38.
The preparation and release of programming previews, and the management and distribution of programming information and programming changes, will be handled by the Content Services unit, headed by Helge Schneider, 39.
The PR heads who formerly worked at the individual press offices of Sat.1, ProSieben and kabel eins, will be transferred to their units in the Communications/PR department at German Free TV Holding in Unterföhring. PR colleagues at N24 will remain with their station at its site in Berlin. All PR staff will be working in multi-station, content-related units. You can find a summary of the individual PR teams at www.prosiebensat1.com and at the individual stations press lounges.
The new structure provides an optimum adjustment to our markets requirements, especially for our largest clients, the programming magazines. Station Spokespeople will have significantly broader responsibilities, and can contribute their know-how to the entire Group. The new, updated matrix organization will enable us to provide even more fully networked and coordinated communications for Germanys most successful group of TV stations.
Well be happy to present the new structure to you personally in the next few weeks. Well be in touch to set a date.
If you have any questions, please dont hesitate to contact me anytime.
Sincerely,
German Free TV Holding GmbH
Petra Fink
