ProSiebenSat.1 extends output deal with Hollywood studio CBS Studios International

Munich, May 10, 2012. The ProSiebenSat.1 Group has extended its existing output deal with the US studio CBS Studios International for a number of years. With the multi-year contract extension the company obtains exclusive access rights on all new US series CBS is to produce over the next few years. The broadcasting rights apply to Germany, Austria and Switzerland. With the agreement ProSiebenSat.1 also secured the video-on-demand rights. CBS is one of the most important US content suppliers for ProSiebenSat.1. The Hollywood studio produces prime-time series such as "Navy CIS", "NCIS: L.A." and "Hawaii-5-0", which have been running successfully for several seasons on the ProSiebenSat.1 Group's German stations.
