ProSiebenSat.1 Group Acquires Attractive Film Package from Tele München Group
Munich, June 16, 2009. The ProSiebenSat.1 Group has acquired exclusive free TV rights to more than 30 film titles from the Tele München Group, including such blockbusters as the first broadcast of the vampire romance Twilight. The years biggest hit to date drew an audience of 2.5 million to German film theaters. Other highlights include Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Babylon A.D., and the mystery thriller Knowing, with Nicholas Cage. The package also includes a number of TV movies and the hit U.S. mystery series Sanctuary.
