ProSiebenSat.1 Group and HanseNet Sign IPTV Agreement

DSL cable distribution of Groups Free and Pay TV stations / New Alice homeTV IPTV service starts today

Munich, May 11, 2006. ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG has signed an IPTV agreement with HanseNet Telekommunikation GmbH. The deal means that the free and pay TV stations from Germanys leading television corporation will also be carried over the telecommunications providers DSL cable network, which goes under the Alice brand name. Sat.1, ProSieben, kabel eins, N24 and 9Live along with pay TV stations Sat.1 Comedy and kabel eins classics, starting June 1 will be included in the Alice HomeTV free TV and pay TV package. HanseNets new IPTV service is introduced to the public in Berlin today.

Guillaume de Posch, CEO of ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG: IPTV completes the ProSiebenSat.1 Groups triple play. It means that our stations are on every network available today. IPTV offers interactivity; this will encourage the development of new services. So much new variety can only benefit the viewer.

In the first quarter of 2006, the ProSiebenSat.1 Group already signed IPTV agreements for Germany with T-Online and Telefónica. Service is to start before the year is out. In Austria, the Groups stations are available on DSL via aonDigital TV. This IPTV service from Telekom Austria was launched in Vienna in May 2006. New subsidiary SevenSenses is responsible for IPTV at the ProSiebenSat.1 Group. SevenSenses is also in charge of the Groups pay TV and video on demand services.
