ProSiebenSat.1 Group: Senior management team set for New Media management segment

- Christoph Bellmer is named Head of New TV and CEO of SevenSenses
- Strategic reorganization: New TV established as new business pillar
- Silke Kuisle is named CEO of MyVideo

Munich, May 6, 2010. The senior management team of the New Media management segment under the leadership of Dan Marks has been set. As Head of New TV and CEO of SevenSenses, Christoph Bellmer, 46, will assume responsibility for the non-advertising-financed TV activities of the TV group, including pay-TV and mobile-TV (SevenSenses), video-on-demand and participation television (9Live). New TV has been set up as a new business pillar.

Effective immediately, therefore, the New Media segment is organized into two main divisions: New TV and SevenOne Intermedia. The multimedia company comprises the business units of Online (TV station sites, strategic investments), and Games, Mobile & Teletext. Arnd Benninghoff has been named CEO of SevenOne Intermedia, effective May 1, 2010. Bellmer and Benninghoff both report to Dan Marks, Head of New Media for the ProSiebenSat.1 Group.

Christoph Bellmer comes to the company from MEDIA BROADCAST, where he was responsible for building up new business lines, among other things, in his role as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Before that, he was COO of Unity Media, one of the leading providers of media and communication services via broadband cable. In this position, Bellmer was responsible for launching the pay-TV channel "arena" and for managing the operating activities of this cable provider. He has also held other senior management positions with T-Systems and the General Electric Group.

Dan Marks, Head of New Media for ProSiebenSat.1: "Christoph Bellmer is a consummate industry insider with profound experience in the digital TV business. My goal in setting up the New TV division is to establish a new center of competence in which the different business models will complement each other. I am certain that Christoph Bellmer will make an invaluable contribution to the goal of promoting the growth of our revenue models that do not depend on advertising revenues."

Another personnel change in the New Media segment relates to MyVideo. Effective May 1, 2010, this video community of ProSiebenSat.1 expanded its management team. Since that time, Silke Kuisle (32) has been in charge of business administration for the departments of Finance, Content, Legal and Personnel. The CEO is still Manuel Uhlitzsch, 41. Prior to this assignment, Silke Kuisle headed the Business Development department of the New Media und Diversification management segment of the TV Group. In this position, she coordinated the development and implementation of new business models on a company-wide basis and oversaw the establishment and management of strategic alliances. Kuisle's successor in this position is Marcel Mohaupt, 40; as Head of Corporate Development and Strategic Marketing, he will be responsible in particular for promoting new business models in the New Media segment. In addition, he will continue to oversee Group-wide projects in Marketing. Contact:

Weather targeting makes TV-advertising even more relevant
Seven. One Media and wetter.com are working together on a targeting option: on TV, precisely those products are advertised that match the weather situation. This opens up additional revenue potential in the advertising market.
