ProSiebenSat.1 Group signs deal with Warner Bros. International Television Distribution

- Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Blood Diamond, and Oceans Thirteen to air on ProSiebenSat.1 stations

Munich, February 22, 2007. In a long-running agreement, ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG has acquired the Free TV rights for future productions from Warner Bros. International Television Distribution (WBITD). Starting in 2007, the broadcasting group has exclusive Free TV rights to all the Studios feature films and a selection of series released during the contract period.

The first movie under the new agreement to air on the ProSiebenSat.1 stations will be Blood Diamond, starring Academy Award® nominee Leonardo DiCaprio. The package also includes movies such as Oceans Thirteen, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Overall, the deal covers around 30 movies per year. Selected series distributed by WBITD will also go to the ProSiebenSat.1 Group.

Other partners of the group include Sony Entertainment, Paramount, Disney, Dreamworks, Lucasfilm, Senator and Tobis, as well as Constantin and Kinowelt.
