SevenOne International sells Dick de Rijk’s game show "You Deserve It" to key territories Germany and Italy

Munich/Cannes, April 4, 2011. Additionally to the sale of Dick de Rijk's You Deserve It to ABC in the United States, SevenOne International has sold the show to further key territories. In Germany, the game show will be broadcast on SAT.1. Channels in Italy and the Middle East have also purchased the show. You Deserve It is the first format to result from the partnership between SevenOne International, the international program distribution company of ProSiebenSAT.1's subsidiary Red Arrow Entertainment Group, and Dick de Rijk, the legendary mastermind behind the internationally smash hit Deal or No Deal. You Deserve It is the first TV show where contestants do not play for themselves, but for someone else - a person who really deserves it. The contestants themselves recommend the beneficiaries and, with a little luck, have the chance to change someone's life forever. The beneficiaries, however, do not have the faintest idea about what is going on - until the emotional grand finale when the contestants hand their beneficiary a check. Before that can happen, though, the contestants have to make it through 10 incredibly intense rounds with 10 questions each. Every question has up to 10 clues, but the clues do not come free. Sometimes they cost just a few cents, but sometimes they cost an amount that could potentially wipe out the contestant's winnings. In the end, it all comes down to each contestant's knowledge and intuition.
