ProSiebenSat.1 Concludes New Deal with Twentieth Century Fox
Munich, October 5. 2009. For the first time in 14 years the ProSiebenSat.1 Group has the opportunity to close an exclusive long-term contract with Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution on high-profile feature films and series.
Starting in 2010, the long-term license agreement will give the Group exclusive free TV rights to numerous new Hollywood blockbusters, along with a large choice of U.S. series, for the Groups stations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The contract comprises feature films from U.S. release years 2010 onwards as well as TV Series from U.S. seasons 2011/12 onwards. Highlights include the theatrical sequels of The Chronicles of Narnia and Wall Street as well as new productions like Gullivers Travels and the comedy Date Night with Steve Carell. In line with the agreement Fox, which is responsible for successful series like The Simpsons and 24, will also be delivering a strong line up of new series every year.

The ProSiebenSat.1 Group has long-term contracts with almost every major Hollywood studio and many other important production companies and license dealers. In addition to Twentieth Century Fox, partners include such studios and distributors as CBS, Paramount, Disney, Warner, MGM, Lucasfilm, Sony Pictures International, Dreamworks, Constantin, Tobis Film and Kinowelt.
