ProSiebenSat.1 is one of the most dynamic media companies in Europe and one of the leading entertainment providers in the German‑speaking region.
In Germany alone, we reach around 61 million people per month. At the same time, as part of one of Europe’s largest media networks, we benefit from the economies of scale within the MFE Group.
Our strategic focus is on our core business Entertainment, with the clear objective of positioning ProSiebenSat.1 as a leading entertainment provider in the DACH region. We connect our linear TV channels with our streaming platform Joyn as well as selected third‑party platforms to distribute content where people actually consume it. In doing so, we follow a simple principle: "Viewers and Users First."
Five strategic priorities for a focused media powerhouse
To sustainably strengthen our position in the TV and streaming market and to develop ProSiebenSat.1 into a focused media powerhouse in the DACH region, we concentrate on five strategic priorities:
1) Strengthening local content
We make targeted investments in formats that clearly differentiate us from global competitors, create strong emotional engagement and work across all distribution channels – linear, digital and in combination with creator content.
2) Smart integration of platforms
Our content is distributed where people use it: via TV, Joyn, social channels and selected partner platforms. The interaction between platforms increases reach, relevance and monetization.
3) Broadening monetization
We are systematically expanding our sales activities – from traditional TV environments to digital and addressable products, as well as data‑ and AI‑based solutions that unlock new revenue potential.
4) Leveraging technology and AI
We use technology and artificial intelligence to develop content more efficiently, improve user experiences and accelerate processes. At the same time, this creates new areas for growth.
5) Ensuring financial discipline
We manage the company with a clear focus on costs, cash and targeted investments. This secures our financial stability, creates room for content and technology investments, and enables value creation through active portfolio management.
Our ambition for the future
Our focus is on the DACH region, with Germany as our most important revenue market. We aim to further strengthen our leading position in the entertainment market, increase digital revenues and consistently monetize our reach across all platforms.
At the same time, success for us goes beyond economic performance. Sustainability, social value, diversity and responsibility are integral parts of our self‑understanding and firmly embedded in our corporate strategy.
