ASSET DIVESTMENTS IN THE FIRST HALF OF THE YEAR
In the spring of 2026, ProSiebenSat.1 completed several asset divestments. Through ongoing evaluation of the portfolio, new owners were found for the divested companies to support their next phase of growth.
The Connected TV marketing entity esome and the retail media specialist Kairion were sold to Pivotum Capital, an investment firm focused on technology and digital companies.
This was followed by the sale of the mobility platforms billiger-mietwagen.de (under the umbrella of FLOYT Mobility GmbH) and CamperDays. While billiger-mietwagen.de was also sold to a consortium led by Pivotum Capital, CamperDays went to a group of private investors.
In April 2026, ProSiebenSat.1 also sold its North American creator business, operating under the Studio71 US brand, to Fixated LLC.
With these transactions, ProSiebenSat.1 is further advancing its strategic focus on the Entertainment business in the German-speaking region.
PROSIEBENSAT.1 ORGANIZES ITS BUSINESS INTO TWO SEGMENTS
Since the 2026 financial year, the ProSiebenSat.1 Group has been organized into two segments: Entertainment and Commerce & Dating.
The Entertainment segment remains the core of the Group and combines linear and digital entertainment platforms with the content, distribution, and sales businesses. New additions include SevenVentures, SevenAccelerator, and marktguru.
In the Commerce & Dating segment, the previous Commerce portfolio and the Dating & Video business were merged. This includes flaconi and Jochen Schweizer mydays on the commerce side, as well as dating and entertainment platforms such as Parship, eharmony, LOVOO, MeetMe, and Skout. AdTech companies such as Virtual Minds are also part of this segment.
The new structure sharpens the focus on the core entertainment business and reflects a value-optimizing portfolio strategy for the future.
