JOYN AND THE LINEAR CHANNELS SHOW SIGNIFICANT GROWTH
Strong gains for ProSiebenSat.1: The reach of the channel family increased significantly in the key target groups for sales. The group gained +0.7 percentage points among 14-59-year-olds and +0.8 percentage points among young viewers (14-49 years).
At the same time, the streaming platform Joyn also continued its impressive success story. In November and December, Joyn reached historic highs with 12.4 million users each month, doubling its net reach compared to the same months last year. Usage itself also increased significantly: watch time increased by 37% year-on-year, and on-demand usage increased by 57%.
This means that Joyn is not only continually gaining new users – they are also spending more and more time on the platform.
STRONG NEW FORMATS
Several successful format launches in 2025 once again demonstrated the diversity and innovative strength of the ProSiebenSat.1 Entertainment brands. On ProSieben, Joko & Klaas quickly established another Saturday evening fixture with "Ein sehr gutes Quiz (mit hoher Gewinnsumme)" (A very good Quiz (with a very high prize money)). In the fall, the two entertainers’ new live show won the German Television Award for Best Entertainment Show.
SAT.1 achieved Germany’s most successful reality show launch of the year with "Villa der Versuchung" (Villa of Temptation). The format impressed with its special narrative twist, in which every form of comfort is deducted from the shared prize money, strong personalities, and emotional decisions. The first episodes reached an average of 3.3 million viewers and were also among the strongest program brands of the summer on Joyn.
Another highlight was "The Power" on Joyn. The strategic reality format thrilled viewers with a highly dynamic game of intrigue, alliances, and deception. In terms of video views, it quickly became the most successful Joyn Original of all time and will therefore continue with a new season in 2026.
LONGTERM CONTRACT EXTENSIONS
In 2025, ProSiebenSat.1 increasingly focused on long-term partnerships with influential TV personalities.
With Matthias Killing and Daniel Boschmann, two presenters from "SAT.1-Frühstücksfernsehen" (SAT.1 Breakfast TV) were signed exclusively for several years. Julia Leischik also remains an integral part of SAT.1's programming with her show "Julia Leischik sucht: Bitte melde dich" (Julia Leischik is looking for: Please get in touch).
A particular highlight of the year was the five-year contract extension with Joko Winterscheid and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf. Together with ProSieben and Florida Entertainment, the two entertainers want to continue creating memorable TV moments.
Heidi Klum and ProSieben are also continuing their collaboration. Coinciding with the start of filming for the 20th anniversary season, which was broadcast in spring 2025, the contract with the famous model was extended for several years.
Together, these contract extensions underscore the strategic focus on strong personalities who shape the entertainment profile of the channel family and ensure high recognition across all platforms.

TAFF CELEBRATES ITS 30TH ANNIVERSARY
The first episode of taff aired on May 29, 1995. Since then, taff has demonstrated a keen sense of pop culture and a sharp eye for world events. The tabloid magazine has been entertaining viewers for 30 years with a unique mix of attitude and humor and dominates ProSieben's target audience (14-49 years) in the 5-6 p.m. time slot. What makes taff so special, apart from the stories, are the people behind it: a team of presenters who appear on camera with passion and ease, and an editorial team that puts together a live show at breakneck speed every day.
STRATEGIC ASSET DIVESTMENTS STRENGTHEN FOCUS ON ENTERTAINMENT
ProSiebenSat.1 has sold the online comparison portal Verivox to a subsidiary of the Moltiply Group. This step marks an important milestone in the strategic implementation of the stronger focus on the core business Entertainment.
In addition to Verivox, ProSiebenSat.1 also sold its minority stake in Urban Sports Club in the first quarter of 2025.
Finally, in December, the online weather portal wetter.com was sold to FUNKE Mediengruppe.
The divestments underscore the success of the media-for-equity model: The companies have benefited significantly from the reach of the ProSiebenSat.1 channels, and ProSiebenSat.1, in turn, has benefited from the associated increase in value.
